Coraz gorzej - bezrobocie rośnie, nie będzie za co kupować.
The number of British workers claiming jobless benefits rose 24,900 in July to 1.58 million, equal to 4.9% of the workforce, the Office for National Statistics reported Wednesday. Economists had forecast a rise of 20,000. In the April-to-June period, the total number of unemployed rose 220,000 to 2.43 million. The unemployment rate for the April-June period, when measured according to International Labor Organization standards, rose to 7.8% from 7.1% in the previous three months, the ONS said. Average earnings in the three months to June rose at an annual 2.5%, when measured including or excluding bonuses. Excluding bonuses, the rise was the lowest since comparable records began in 2001, the ONS said.
