Fed-owi kończy się amunicja.
On Monday the Fed announced it had purchased another $7 billion worth of Treasuries under its quantitative easing program. Readers will recall that in last week’s FOMC statement, the Fed said it was extending the Treasury purchase program by a month, to the end of October, while maintaining its total purchase commitment of $300 billion.
After today’s $7 billion purchase, the Fed has just $40 billion left. Spread out over the next 10 weeks, that doesn’t give it very much ammo. To date, purchases have averaged over $12 billion per week. That is set to fall to $4 billion.

If we see a 50-percent retracement on the Dow from March's low to this month's high, this index could fall to about 8,800. This actually coincides with the index's 50-day moving average as well. Stocks have gotten ahead of the fundamentals and this has many analysts calling for some sort of retracement.

Delinquency rates for loans and leases at U.S. banks increased to a record 6.49% in the second quarter from 5.58% in the first quarter, the Federal Reserve announced Monday. The Fed began collecting the data in 1985. The charge-off rate rose from a record 2.03% to a record 2.65%. Before this recession, the highest charge-off rate had been 1.70%. Delinquency rates for real estate loans rose from 7.10% to 8.27%, the highest since the data began in 1987. Delinquency rates for commercial and industrial loans rose from 3.12% to 3.73%, while delinquencies for consumer loans rose to from 4.69% to 4.92%, also a 22-year high.

wiele się ostatnio mówi u nas o Afganistanie...wiadomo z jakiogo powodu ale warto postudiować trochę historii tego kraju. Po najechaniu na niego upadło już 7 wielkich imperiów kolejno: Persja, Imperium Aleksandra Macedońskiego, Kalifat Arabski, Imperium Mogołów, , Imperium Brytyjskie, ZSRR...czy USA będą następne?
