Brown zapowiedział, że rząd będzie ciął wydatki za wyjątkiem służby zdrowia, edukacji i policji
The U.K's governing Labour party will cut spending to bear down on the fiscal deficit, but frontline services - such as healthcare, education and policing - will be protected, U.K. Prime Minister Gordon Brown said Tuesday.
"Labour will cut costs, cut inefficiencies, cut unneccessary programs and cut lower priority budgets," Brown said in a speech to union leaders in Liverpool, northern England. "People will see that Labour will not support cuts in vital frontline services on which people depend."
